Hi, I'm Bryce. I've spent my life fishing in the Pacific Northwest. I eventually picked up 3D printing as an additional hobby. My years of fishing experience gave me ideas that I was never able to put into action before. Now, thanks to 3D printing, I am beginning to bring some of those ideas to life.The first is the Gyro Hootchie, a durable, flexible TPU hootchie designed to rotate as it pulls through the water. I spent months developing it through 3D design, trial and error, until I had the version you see now.I first tested the Gyro Hootchie on sockeye at Baker Lake. During a five-day trip in July 2025, I fished it side by side with a traditional hootchie and it produced about three fish for every one caught on the traditional setup.Since then, I’ve refined the design further with dyed colors for longer-lasting, bolder color. A larger version is coming soon, aimed at salmon fishing in Puget Sound.Other designs are also in development.
